About Us...
St Paul's Church is based on Durnford Street, Stonehouse in Plymouth. Led by the Rev. John Money, this community based Anglican church welcomes new-comers and supports more established members alike. You can find an itinerary of our worship services and other weekly events under the 'events' tab at the top of the page. Similarly, contact and location details, together with recent church news can also be found using the tabs at the top of the page. Our vision for St Paul's is to be a community who love God first and foremost and others as ourselves. We aim to work towards this vision in the following ways:

Worship Promoting the name of Jesus through music, preaching and teaching

Discipleship Encouraging each church member towards achieving their full potential

Caring By showing practical / spiritual care for one another, inside and outside the church

Church History
St. Paul’s which was built as a chapel of ease to St. George’s, which itself only dated back to 1789; it having been built on the site of an earlier church building to serve the increased population following the late eighteenth-century expansion of Stonehouse. St. George’s was completed just a few years after the Royal Marine Barracks had opened and not many years after the Stonehouse Bridge, the Royal Naval Hospital and Longroom Barracks had been developed.
